A Brief History

The Cirque du Soleil show “O” at the Bellagio in Las Vegas has been offering really cool backstage tours since late 2010. Guests can see behind the scenes, like the wings, training rooms, costume workshop, break area, underwater lighting section, and even go up into the sound and lighting booths. Each tour experience is unique because it happens during a regular rehearsal day, so you may or may not see performers practicing or working out.

“O” has been a massive hit since opening in 1998, grossing over a billion dollars in its first decade. The show has won many awards over the years, including Best Production Show in 1998 from the Entertainment Design Awards, Best Production Show from the Las Vegas Review-Journal from 1999 to 2006, and a creativity award from Prix Italia in 2009 for their “Flow” documentary.
